RTS Scores " Clean Sweep" at
InfoComm -For the first time in the history of Peavey
Electronics, a single Rep Firm has been awarded the "Rep of the
Year" designation for all three of Peavey's Pro Audio lines in
the same year. Ron Tunks Sales, Inc. was recognized for
outstanding sales performance for 2008 for Media Matrix, Crest
Audio, and Architectural Acoustics. Mark Pinske, COO of Crest
Audio and GM of Media Matrix and AA, made the presentations at
the annual sales meeting held in Orlando.
Ron Tunks
Sales
has been named the Ultimate
Support Rep of the Year and the Samson Audio, Samson Wireless
and Hartke Rep of the Year at the 2009 Winter NAMM Show.
The Stanton Group has
selected Ron Tunks Sales to represent StantonDJ, Cerwin-Vega
and KRK in the South East.
Ron Tunks Sales has been
chosen to represent Seymour Duncan in Florida.

Company History and Profile

In 1970,
while playing in South Florida clubs, Ron Tunks
decided to expand his interests in music by
opening a retail musical instrument store with
one of his band mates. Although the business was
very successful, Ron, at 22, sold his interests
and accepted an offer to join a popular touring
group. For nine years he maintained a busy
schedule of playing nightclubs, concerts, and
studios throughout the Southeast. In October
1979, after having a nightmare that his future
resembled Spinal Tap, Ron decided on a career
change. He went back to college to study
marketing and business and pursued a career as a
manufacturer’s rep.
Starting as a
rep for musical instruments, Ron expanded his business
by adding a Systems Contracting division in 1985. Ron
Tunks Sales, Inc. (RTS) has grown steadily since
1979 to one of our industry's largest rep firms with
offices in Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Atlanta,
Muscle Shoals,
Charlotte and Nashville. The entire RTS network is
supported by an experienced professional customer
service team from the home office in Fort Lauderdale.
Representing
some of the major brands in our industry, RTS continues
to offer manufacturers a cost-effective and
cost-efficient marketing plan by intelligently
utilizing the benefits of a symbiotic multiple-line
sales approach. With a broad dealer base in seven
states and Puerto Rico, RTS offers immediate and deep
market penetration to our manufacturers.
